Whilst every effort is made to ensure that your vessel is safe and secure we cannot in any way guarantee this. Yacht Care cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage or loss sustained to the vessel as a result of any weather, tsunami, cyclone, criminal damage, fire or theft of articles or any other cause.
Best Efforts Basis - Our services are provided on a best efforts basis - we will not be held responsible in the event that we are unable to clean, remove stains, or otherwise restore any surface, fabric or condition of sailing or motor yacht. All services listed in our marketing material are for reference only, and do not necessarily represent a guarantee that the service was performed.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that valeting services are carried out to the highest standard (according to the condition of the vessel), the Client is advised to check the vessel on completion of any work. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the Customer should point out the discrepancy, we will endeavour to correct it at that time and to the best of our ability. No responsibility can be accepted by Yacht Care for discrepancies detected after 24 hours of work being completed. Should the Client fail to adhere to this time scale Yacht Care may decline to rectify any discrepancies.
As part of the company policy to improve the quality of services, the company reserves the right to alter the specifications of any services without prior notice.
Laundry Service - We exercise utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses of or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing. In laundering we cannot guarantee against colour loss and shrinkage: or against damage to weak and tender fabrics.
Accidental Damage. We are not responsible for any accidental damage that may occur while your vessel is in our possession, including but not limited to any damage related to pre?existing conditions. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your vessel arising from loose deck fitting, flaking paintwork, extremely corroded/rusty metal work, faulty parts or poor mechanics. Please ensure you make us aware of any potential problems before we start our services.
Additional Charges - In the course of rendering services on your vessel, we may uncover conditions or circumstances that require additional effort or time, and therefore you may incur additional cost, to properly complete your vessel service. We will make every reasonable effort to notify you in advance of completing the service, however in the event we are unable to contact you for any reason out of our control; we reserve the right to charge our published hourly rate to complete the work by bringing in additional labour and or other professionals, i.e diesel mechanic.
Engine Damage Disclaimer. Certain services include cleaning of the engine, engine room and components. Yacht Care is not responsible for any damage resulting from this service, temporary or otherwise, that may occur as a result from water interfering with engine function.
Interim charge cap. - We reserve the right to place a capped limit of $500 on accounts and will require immediate payment in order to complete further services or care
Billing arrangement - Accounts are payable on completion of work for casual work and account holders will be invoiced at the end of every month for immediate payment within 7 days. NO 20th of the month policy.
Late Payment - Will incur a late processing fee of $20 when payment is over 7 days late and reminders need to be sent.
Termination of Service - Either party may terminate an on-going account at any time and the account is then to be paid in full.
