Total Yacht Care Ltd was established in Opua in 2012 and has been servicing the Bay of Islands boating community ever since.
We offer professional painting, caretaking, cleaning, valet and detailing of yachts and launches in Northland, the Bay of Islands, and Opua.
We believe our service is second to none and communication between us and our customers is paramount. We email you a report and pictures of your vessel with every inspection or work carried out.
It’s important to know that your investment is safe and secure when you’re overseas or can’t visit, especially during times of bad weather. Location is not a problem. We’re a fully mobile unit for all services
I started my career off as an RYA sailing and windsurfing instructor at the age of 18 and worked two years in France and on the Mediterranean before coming to New Zealand in 2004.
Working in the maritime industry I quickly gained my Inshore Launch Master qualification, and have worked full time as a skipper and delivery captain on a variety vessels. Through this I gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience on boats of all shapes and sizes and started to notice a gap in the services being offered within the Bay of Islands.
Since starting Total Yacht Care in 2012, my team and I have established ourselves within the boating community all over the bay and surrounding areas and have a great reputation for quality of service.
